With his rapid-fire wit and charisma, Derik Zoo has been a crowd favorite for the last 15 years. Since that time, he’s gone on to open for such notable acts as Bobcat Goldthwait, Jim Breuer, Carlos Mencia, Doug Stanhope, Pauly Shore, Spanky Brown, Michael Malone, and Vince Morris. He now headlines comedy clubs, colleges, and breweries all over the South and Midwest.

You may have seen Zoo on the big and small screens, having starred in the Independent Christmas classic “Bethlehem”, as well as Guilt/Girl. He’s also been on ABC/CMT’s “Nashville”, The Vampire Diaries, and The Walking Dead.

You can currently catch Zoo performing at Dolly Parton’s Stampede as either the loveable Skeeter, for which from his portrayal Zoo has won “Branson Comedian of the Year” in 2019 and 2020, and as the Master of Ceremonies.
